Prima vittoria stagionale per il Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, che inaugura il proprio palmarès 2026 grazie al successo del brianzolo Lorenzo Nespoli nella 3ª tappa (cronometro individuale) del 10th Tour of Sharjah (2.2), disputata sul circuito Sharjah Fort – Sharjah Fort di 9,8 chilometri.

Il corridore classe 2004, residente a Carate Brianza, ha conquistato la vittoria imponendosi con 2” di vantaggio sugli avversari, completando la prova a una media prossima ai 50 km/h. Un successo di grande prestigio, impreziosito dal 6° posto di Christian Bagatin e dal rafforzamento della 2ª posizione in classifica generale di Marcin Budziński.

Per Nespoli arrivano anche la maglia dei giovani e il 2° posto nella classifica a punti, a coronamento di una giornata perfetta per la formazione diretta da Marzo Zamparella.

Grande soddisfazione nelle parole del patron Antonio Bevilacqua:
«Siamo partiti nel migliore dei modi. Abbiamo curato la preparazione con grande attenzione e i ragazzi stanno dimostrando di essere un gruppo di assoluto valore. Il nostro team si sta mettendo in evidenza anche in Spagna, con Márton Dina protagonista ieri di una lunga fuga».

Le parole del vincitore fotografano al meglio la prova:
«In una corsa come questa non ci sono molte spiegazioni: sono andato al massimo, “morendo” in bicicletta. Sapevo di stare bene e di poter spingere su questa distanza. Sono partito forte con il vento contro, poi nel tratto di ritorno mi sono concentrato sulla velocità media: se vedevo 50 andava bene, altrimenti acceleravo ancora, anche se stavo soffrendo».

Nespoli sottolinea il valore del risultato:
«Qui il livello è alto, ci sono molti devo team. La soddisfazione per il primo successo stagionale è davvero grande. Se ci sarà spazio cercherò altre soddisfazioni personali, altrimenti mi metterò al servizio di Budziński, che sta andando molto forte».

Soddisfatto anche il direttore sportivo Marzo Zamparella:
«Una prestazione eccellente di tutta la squadra. Nespoli è stato superlativo, così come Bagatin e Ambrosini. Inoltre aver guadagnato terreno sul terzo della generale ci rende più fiduciosi per il prosieguo della corsa».

First Seasonal Victory for Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort: Nespoli Triumphs in Tour of Sharjah Time Trial

Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort celebrates its first victory of the 2026 season thanks to Brianzolo rider Lorenzo Nespoli, who won the 3rd stage (individual time trial) of the 10th Tour of Sharjah (2.2), held on the Sharjah Fort – Sharjah Fort circuit over 9.8 kilometers.

The 2004-born rider from Carate Brianza claimed the win with a 2-second advantage, completing the course at an average speed close to 50 km/h. The victory was further highlighted by Christian Bagatin’s 6th place and Marcin Budziński consolidating his 2nd place in the general classification.

For Nespoli, the day also brought the best young rider jersey and 2nd place in the points classification, marking a perfect day for the team led by Marzo Zamparella.

Team owner Antonio Bevilacqua expressed his great satisfaction:
“We started in the best possible way. We prepared the team with great attention, and the riders are proving to be a group of absolute value. Winner Lorenzo Nespoli described his performance:
“In a race like this, there aren’t many explanations: I went all out, ‘dying’ on the bike. I knew I was feeling good and could push over this distance. I started strong against the wind, then on the return stretch I focused on the average speed: if I saw 50 it was fine, otherwise I accelerated again, even if I was suffering.”

He also highlighted the value of the result:
“The level here is high, with many strong teams. The satisfaction of the first victory of the season is really big. If there is a chance, I’ll seek other personal successes; otherwise, I’ll work for Budziński, who is riding very well.”

Sports director Marzo Zamparella added:
“An excellent performance from the whole team. Nespoli was outstanding, as were Bagatin and Ambrosini. Also, gaining time on the third in the general classification makes us more confident for the rest of the race.”
