Mondiali di Ciclocross 2026: il Team al via tra gli U23 con Takács Zsombor
Il Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort sarà al via dei Campionati del Mondo di Ciclocross 2026 a Hulst, in Olanda, nella categoria Under 23, con il giovane talento ungherese Takács Zsombor, pronto a misurarsi sul prestigioso palcoscenico iridato. La rassegna mondiale è iniziata oggi con la gara a staffetta per team, inaugurando un fine settimana ricco di emozioni.
Takács, 20 anni, è campione nazionale U23 sia su strada sia in ciclocross. Il corridore arriva all’appuntamento clou della stagione dopo una preparazione intensa, sia in Spagna con il team a Gandia, sia con allenamenti specifici mirati a tecnica e resistenza sulla neve.
«Mi piace molto il percorso perché è davvero tecnico», racconta Takács. «Domani sarà sicuramente una gara divertente. Mi sento fiducioso e spero di riuscire a trasformare questa preparazione in un buon risultato. Sono pronto ed emozionato».
Nel 2025 l’atleta ha già mostrato segnali importanti di crescita anche su strada, chiudendo 5° al GP della Liberazione di Roma e ottenendo prestazioni convincenti, in particolare al Campionato Nazionale Ungherese U23.
Hulst, scenario dei Mondiali
Dal 30 gennaio al 1° febbraio 2026, la pittoresca città di Hulst ospita la 77ª edizione dei Mondiali di Ciclocross UCI. Il tracciato, innovativo e altamente tecnico, sarà caratterizzato da ponti, passerelle sopraelevate, salite e discese secche, gradinate e settori obbligatori in tavole, creando una prova completa e selettiva per tutti gli atleti.

2026 Cyclocross World Championships: Team to compete in U23 with Zsombor Takács
Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort will take part in the 2026 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Hulst, Netherlands, in the Under-23 category with young Hungarian talent Zsombor Takács, ready to measure himself on the prestigious world stage. The championships began today with the team relay race, kicking off a weekend full of excitement.
Takács is 20 years old and is the U23 national champion in both road and cyclocross. He arrives at this key event after an intensive preparation, training both in Gandia, Spain with the team and through specific exercises focused on technique and endurance.
“I really like the course because it’s very technical,” says Takács. “Tomorrow will surely be a fun race. I feel confident and hope to turn this preparation into a good result. I’m ready and excited.”
In 2025, the rider already showed important signs of growth on the road as well, finishing 5th at the GP della Liberazione in Rome and delivering convincing performances, especially at the Hungarian National U23 Championships.
Hulst, host of the World Championships
From January 30 to February 1, 2026, the picturesque city of Hulst hosts the 77th edition of the UCI Cyclocross World Championships. The course, innovative and highly technical, will feature bridges, elevated walkways, steep climbs and descents, stairs, and plank sections, creating a challenging and selective race for all athletes.
