Ottimo inizio in Francia: Nicolò Buratti 4° a Marsiglia dietro a Coquard
MARSIGLIA (FRA): Continua nel migliore dei modi la stagione del Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, protagonista a Marsiglia nella classica che ha aperto il calendario francese 2026: il GP del al Maresilleise. Il 24 enne Nicolò Buratticonquista un brillante 4° posto nella gara vinta dal francese Bryan Coquard (Cofidis), al termine di una corsa intensa e selettiva lungo i 145 km del percorso coperti in 3h:27′:01″.
Per la formazione guidata dal team manager Antonio Bevilacqua, da Gábor Deák e dalla famiglia D’Aprile, si tratta di un risultato che conferma la bontà tecnica del progetto in un appuntamento di alto livello, affrontato con personalità e grande spirito di squadra.
Il risultato è impreziosito dall’8° posto di Marcin Budziński e dalla generosa gara d’attacco di Alessandro Verre (15°), protagonista nel finale con un tentativo di assolo che ha contribuito a rendere ancora più solida la prestazione collettiva.
Le parole di Nicolò Buratti
«Innanzitutto voglio sottolineare il grande lavoro del team. Ci siamo aiutati da vera squadra. Questo 4° posto ci dà morale e ci permette di conquistare subito punti importanti. Era una volata da gestire: si arrivava al termine di un lungo rettilineo di due chilometri, con vento contrario, e il tempismo era fondamentale. Avevo battezzato la ruota di Coquard, che poi ha vinto. Un pizzico di rammarico perché sono rimasto leggermente chiuso sulla destra e non ho potuto esprimere tutto il mio potenziale. Probabilmente il podio era alla portata».
Buratti si descrive così: «Non sono un velocista puro, ma un corridore completo che si esprime bene sui percorsi nervosi. Oggi si doveva rilanciare continuamente e, paradossalmente, sono state le discese a fare più selezione delle salite. La gara è stata tirata e bisognava limare costantemente».
Le parole del direttore sportivo Gianluca Valoti, oggi all’esordio nella massima categoria, affiancato da Orlando Maini:
«Una bella emozione, senza dubbio.- le parole del bergamasco – Siamo stati bravi a recuperare una situazione potenzialmente sfavorevole ai -50 km, quando un gruppo di 35 corridori si è avvantaggiato. Abbiamo lavorato per ricucire, poi contrattaccato con Verre in salita. Ottimo il finale di Budziński e, ovviamente, la prova di Buratti».
Il team si sposterà ora a Budapest per la presentazione ufficiale in programma il 6 febbraio.

Great start in France: Nicolò Buratti 4th in Marseille behind Coquard
MARSEILLE (FRA) – The season continues in the best possible way for Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, which played a leading role in Marseille at the race that opened the 2026 French calendar: the GP La Marseillaise.
The 24-year-old Nicolò Buratti claimed an excellent 4th place in the race won by French rider Bryan Coquard (Cofidis), after an intense and selective 145 km course covered in 3h 27′ 01″.
For the team led by team manager Antonio Bevilacqua, Gábor Deák, and the D’Aprile family, this result confirms the technical strength of the project in a high-level event, approached with personality and great team spirit.
The result was further enhanced by Marcin Budziński’s 8th place and by the attacking ride of Alessandro Verre (15th), who animated the finale with a solo move that made the collective performance even more solid.
Nicolò Buratti’s words
“First of all, I want to highlight the great work of the team. We supported each other like a real squad. This 4th place gives us confidence and allows us to score important points right away. It was a sprint that needed to be managed carefully: we reached the finish after a two-kilometer straight into a headwind, so timing was crucial. I had chosen Coquard’s wheel, and he eventually won. There’s a bit of regret because I was slightly boxed in on the right and couldn’t fully express my potential. The podium was probably within reach.”
Buratti describes himself as follows:
“I’m not a pure sprinter, but a complete rider who performs well on punchy courses. Today we had to keep accelerating constantly and, paradoxically, it was the descents that made more of a selection than the climbs. The race was fast and required continuous effort.”
Sports Director Gianluca Valoti’s words, making his debut today in the top category alongside Orlando Maini
“A great emotion, without a doubt,” said the Bergamo-born sports director.
“We did well to recover from a potentially unfavorable situation with 50 km to go, when a group of 35 riders went clear. We worked to bring it back together, then counterattacked with Verre on the climb. Budziński’s finale was excellent and, of course, so was Buratti’s performance.”
The team will now travel to Budapest for the official presentation scheduled for February 6.
